2003 - APPLE BOTTOMS

Apple Bottoms is a fashion brand for women launched in 2003 by rap artist NellyYomi Martin and Ian Kelly. The brand was initially a denim label, but has since expanded to include other women's and girl's clothing, perfume and accessories.

1997 - VOKAL

Vokál is a hip hop fashion brand launched in 1997 by Mohammed Martin, Cornell "Nelly" Haynes Jr, and Nick Loftis. Vokál's team began selling T-shirts, jerseys, and custom clothing from their homes and car trunks. Nelly and his group St. Lunatics started performing in the area of St. Louis and with Nelly’s first solo album release both became known nationwide. The brand essentially grew right along with the career of Nelly and the St. Lunatics.

Brand Name history:

The clothing label, titled Vokál, stands for "very organized kids always learning".

Being Vokal simply means, let your actions do the talking in a positive manner. Both Nelly and Yomi Martin wanted to produce clothing with strong designs- the slogan is ‘Vokál, the clothing speaks for itself’.

" Vokál means `speak for yourself' and this clothing speaks for itself," says Nelly.

SHOES PARTNERSHIPS

2005 - REEBOOK 

Hip-hop star Nelly has signed a deal with sportswear company Reebok to market a collection of footwear, clothing and accessories.

Billboard reports that the signature collection will appear in specialised stores, before being distributed to more retailers next year.

Nelly follows in the footsteps of rapper Jay-Z, who also has a merchandise deal with Reebok.

"I've always been into sneakers and throughout my career I've always wanted to have a signature pair of sneakers that truly reflect my personal style," Nelly said.

The artist will also appear in advertising for Reebok's 'I Am What I Am' campaign as part of the deal.

2003 - PIMP JUICE  BY NELLY

Pimp Juice is the brand name of the non-carbonated energy drink inspired by the Nelly song "Pimp Juice". Nelly also co-owns the drink. Produced by Fillmore Street Brewery, in St. Louis, Missouri USA, Pimp Juice is marketed as "Hip-Hop's #1 Energy Drink."

2008 - SKYBOX BAR BY NELLY

The name is Skybox—a dead-on perfect moniker for a sports bar. In the wake of venues whose names contain symbols, numbers and misplaced capital letters, we appreciate the simplicity. So we’ll shoot straight as well: This place is best-sports-bar-in-town cool. (No surprise, in that the owners are Nelly, Larry Hughes, Marshall Faulk and Darius Miles.) 

Skybox, the sports bar and restaurant that Nelly, Marshall Faulk, Darius Miles and Larry Hughes opened at 800 North Third Street in 2008 was closed in 2009 and became the Vatterott College Ex'treme Institute music-recording school which was created by Nelly.

2011 - VATTEROT COLLEGE EX'TREME INSTITUTE BY NELLY

Hip-hop artist Nelly and Vatterott College are teaming to put a music recording school at the rap star's former Skybox Sports Bar & Grill on Laclede's Landing.

Pam Bell, Vatterott's chief executive, said Tuesday that the Vatterot College Ex'treme Institute, at 800 North Third Street, should be ready in October. It will have a recording studio, music engineering space and a graphics studio where students can produce album covers and other music-related artwork.

"Nelly and I can't wait to get this open," she said. "I think a lot of people will benefit who have an interest in music."

2010 - THE BLACK & WHITE BALL SCHOLARSHIP

St. Louis rapper Nelly has created a scholarship fund to aid disadvantaged students in the quest for a college degree.

The Air Force Ones hitmaker announced his plans during his fourth annual celebrity-packed Black and White Ball. Stars attending the event included Mario, Jermaine Dupri, and The Isley Brothers. Nelly encouraged his celebrity guest to donate generously to the fund.

The scholarship will be available to two students from the St. Louis area, and will provide 4 years of complete financial aid coverage at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri. The “Black and White Ball” Scholarship will launch in 2010 and is opened to all first year students who demonstrate academic excellence and financial need.

Rapper Nelly has created a college tuition scholarship in honour of Michael Brown, who was killed by a police officer

Bud Light and Nelly teamed up to bring the Bud Light to the next level.

2008 - SEAN JOHN

Nelly has been named the first spokesmodel for the recently launched Sean John Underwear line. The rapper will be featured in the fall campaign promoting the new collection. 

"I have been a big fan of Diddy and the Sean John clothing line for years," Nelly said via a statement. "So, when they asked me to work with them, it was a real honor. I hope my fans will enjoy this campaign as much as I did shooting it." 

The campaign, shot by photographer Randee St. Nicholas, showcases Nelly in a modern home overlooking Los Angeles, while modeling the underwear.

2011 - FORD

Hip-hop entrepreneur Nelly has a marketing partnership of sorts with Ford.

2011 - HONEY NUTS CHEERIOSS

Honey Nut Cheerios launched a new campaign that features multi-platinum and Grammy award winning artist Nelly with the brand’s iconic bee, BuzzBee.

Nelly and BuzzBee will soon ‘spread the honey’ in a new remix of his hit song “Ride Wit Me,” a fun, danceable remix titled “Must Be The Honey (M.B.T.H),”

2013 MIKE & IKE

The break-up of Mike and Ike was a viral sensation when it was announced, but now rapper and recording artist Nelly has found a way to get them back together to prevent Mike's hip-hop career and get him focused back on the candy.

CHARITY

2003 4SHO4KIDS FONDATION

Nelly runs the non-profit organization 4Sho4Kids Foundation. The Jes Us 4 Jackie campaign began in March 2003 by Nelly and his sister Jackie Donahue after Donahue was diagnosed with leukemia. The campaign attempts to educate African Americans and other minorities about the need for bone marrow transplants, and to register more donors. Donahue lost her battle with leukemia on March 24, 2005, almost two years after the campaign began. 

2010 DO SOEMTHINGS TACKLE HUNGER CAMPAIGN

In 2010, Nelly endorsed Do Something's Tackle Hunger campaign. In a public service announcement he filmed for the cause, Nelly challenged teens to fight hunger by collecting one million pounds of food for the holiday season

2020 Budweiser limited edition

Budweiser is releasing limited edition to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Nelly's "County Grammar" album.
