BIOGRAPHY
Ali Jones, better known by his stage name Ali, is an American rapper and member of the hip hop group St. Lunatics. Ali started his interest in music while in college in Atlanta, Georgia; this is where his first nickname 'College Boy' arose from. Upon having a successful mentorship with Professor Grip and other musical influences, he returned to St. Louis to build and brand his friends who later became his group mates.
Ali has since gone on to create a solo album, titled "Heavy Starch" and contributed to the success of the St. Lunatic album 'City Free'. Later in his musical journey, he partnered with the legendary Big Gipp from Goodie Mob. Together, they were able to release a joint album, titled "Kinfolk" under the duo name of "Ali & Gipp". Ali has also wrote and co-produced two mixtapes, 'The Champ Iz Herr' and 'So St. Louis' respectively with his cousin and DJ, Trife Trizzle. Ali has achieved a successful business regimen, by acquiring a mixtape distribution company called 'Midwest Mixtapes', as well as his fitness company named 'Derrty Fitness'; these both date back to the early 2010's. Today, you can find Ali and his family giving back to St. Louis through multiple efforts such as 'Hats and Gloves' and '88 Day'. In 2017, Ali released a single named 'Truth' produced by Super Producer Jay-E, of Basement Beats, and Fly D Ex, with the anticipation of more music to be released in 2018.
